We Believe In
-
"JOCO started as a way to share our love for coffee and make new friends".
Acerca de JOCO
Jonathan

Jonathan’s connection to coffee began in his childhood, inspired by his grandmother and the moments his family shared around a cup of coffee. Those early experiences shaped his belief that coffee is about conversation and community.
Since 2019, he has worked across Argentina, Chile, and the United States in roles including barista, e-commerce, events, and customer service. Through these experiences, he developed a global perspective and a deep appreciation for how coffee brings people together across cultures.
Jonathan is also passionate about coffee competitions, seeing them as an incredible way to learn, challenge himself, and build community within the industry. In September 2025, he competed in the Austin AeroPress Regional Championship, where he placed fourth.
As Co Founder of JOCO, Jonathan is dedicated to sharing knowledge and creating genuine, welcoming experiences.
Conor

Several years ago, Conor worked on a farm in Italy. He knew no one and could not speak the language.
One evening, someone sliced a tomato from the farm and served it with dinner. It did not resemble any tomato he'd had before. It was not a burger accessory nor a salad topping. Rather, it was full of umami and sunshine, and its flavor could stand up against anything else on that table (including a pot roast). For a moment, everyone around the table was connected by this wonderful food.
Conor has had many similar experiences in the world of specialty coffee. He remembers coffees that tasted inexplicably like apple juice, cherry cola, and key lime pie. These flavors didn't come from an artificial source but from the skill and care of everyone in the coffee supply chain.
For Conor, coffee has turned from an afterthought to a point of interest and connection in his day. At JOCO, he works to connect more people with great coffee. He takes care of behind-the-scenes work while traveling for his day job, where he makes municipal tree inventories.
